He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Bernice and Joseph C. Harkins; his wife Jeanne M. Harkins; and his brother Tom (Dottie). He is survived by: his daughters, Jeannie Astifan (Bill), Judy Malkovsky (Jeff), Pat Harkins (Jeff Stamets) and Kate Harkins; his grandchildren, Christine Prisco (Mike Bacon), Liz Prisco, John Prisco (Sarah), Lauren Malkovsky (Blake Johnson), Terry Stamets, Brian Harkins and Aaron Harkins; his great grandchild Anthony Joseph Prisco; and his brother John Harkins (Irma).
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (212 Meredith St, Kennett Square, PA 19348). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at the St. Joseph on the Brandywine Cemetery (10 Old Church Rd, Greenville, DE 19807).
