As we bid Joan farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Joan is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gaetano Stouffer and Beulah Stouffer; and her husband Ed. She is survived by: her children, Sharon Heavens (James) of Wilmington, DE, Doreene Bernard (Peter) of Boothwyn, PA and Edward Thornton (Lorraine) of Pedricktown, NJ.. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
