He was predeceased by: his wife Winnie Louise Mains Eldreth; his parents, Lester Eldreth and Belle Wyatt Eldreth; his daughter Janet S. Hudson; and his brothers, Millard Raymond Eldreth and Brian Eldreth.
He is survived by: his children, James L. Eldreth (Janice) of Coatesville, Jerry Eldreth (Wendy) of Quarryville, Alice Eldreth of Kennett Square and Linda Woods (Jerry) of Nottingham; and his brother Ronny Eldreth (Dot). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
