He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jean Tennent; his children, Kirk, Barbara, David and Douglas; his grandchildren, David Barkan, Joel Barkan, David Tennent, Jr., Babs Smith, Max Kutsch and Liz Tennent; his parents, Henry Kirkpatrick "Kirk" Tennent and Mabel Taylor Clarke; and also Avery Barkan.
