He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Smith Koeneman and Reba Parr Koeneman. He is survived by: his children, Donald W. Koeneman (Cindy), Todd and Diane Craig (James); and his grandchildren, Margaret Christie Hasse (Tobias) and Todd.
