He was predeceased by: his wife Marlene Frankenstein Vaughn; and his parents, Robert J. Vaughn and Wilda M. Shaffer Vaughn. He is survived by: his children, Brian H. Vaughn (Shelley R. Vaughn) and Lora V. Rosecrans (John W. G. Rosecrans); his grandchildren, Victoria M. Vaughn, Evan B. Vaughn, Julia M. Vaughn and Grant J. Vaughn; and his sisters, Sara Lohr of Batavia, IL and Elinor Caldwell of DuBois, PA..
