He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferdinand K. Thun and Marion Greene Thun; and his sister Katrina Thun. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; his brother Peter; his niece Kirsten Dunn; and his nephews, Eric Thun and Christopher Thun. He is also survived by seven grandnieces and a grandnephew.
