He is survived by: his wife Jean O'Donnell; and his children, Lisa Dixey, Timothy Chell, Esquire, Eva Donnelly and Lara Wynne (Gretchen Hebert). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his name to Nemours Children's Hospital.
