It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elizabeth Jones of Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, born in Coatesville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 18, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Henry Stanton and Theressa Pennington Stanton; her husband Howard L. Jones, Sr.; and her daughters, Louise Jones and Lizabeth Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Laura Jackson, Linda Poe (Jerry) of Kennett Square, Howard Jones, Jr. of Lancaster, PA, Derrick Jones (Evelyn) of Middletown, DE and Hallice Jones (Kimberly) of Kennett Square; and her brothers, Robert Stanton of Chattanooga, TN and Sherwood Stanton of Coatesville. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Due to covid, a private funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at 12 noon.
