Stemmler (Kennett Square, Pennsylvania), born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 3, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Carol Stemmler, Dorothy Maurer and Robert; and his parents, Josephine Stemmler and Edward Stemmler.
He is survived by: his wife Dr. Joan K. Stemmler; his children, Beth (Clark Porter), Peggy (late Patrick Liu), Ed, Cathy and Joan; and his grandsons, Jasper Liu, Daniel Porter, Benjamin Liu, Matthew Porter and Joshua Taibbi. He is also survived by his family and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Residents or Staff Assistance Funds at Kendal or to the Joan K. Stemmler and Edward J. Stemmler Endowed Scholarship at the University of Pennsylvania Stemmler Scholarship Fund.
