She is survived by: her grandmother Dorthea Hess Sarr "Dottie"; her children, Nancy, Richard and David; her daughter-in-law Julia; her siblings, Marian Peppel of Springfield and Lee Hess of Shalimar; her grandchildren, Emma and Benjamin; and also Kennett. She is also survived by wife, mother and grandmother.
