He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Metz, Jr. and Ruth Harnden Metz; his wife Janet Barberie Metz; his children, Peter Metz and Suzanne Metz McEllhenney; his son-in-law Peter McEllhenney; his grandsons, Evan and Colin; and his siblings, Julia Metz Barnhart and Robert Metz.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Kendal-Crosslands Communities (1660 E Street Rd, Kennett Square, PA 19348). Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
