With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Mae Assalone of Kennerdell, Pennsylvania, born in Fombell, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 15, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Ketterer and Treva Ketterer (Raisley); and her grandchildren, Amber Lucas (Hardisky) and Brandon Cooper. She is survived by: her husband Vince; her daughters, Holly Hammers (Doug) of Kennerdell and Marcy Cooper (Greg) of Fombell; her grandchildren, Donny, Liz Hardisky, Nicole, Zac Jones, Justin and Abby Cooper; her great grandchildren, Hailey Hardisky and Adriann Jones; and her siblings, Linda Hessler (Eugene), Helen Gobrich (George), Alice Jacob (Robert) and Clifford Ketterer. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
