She was predeceased by: her parents, Theron McDaniel and Viola Titus McDaniel; her daughters, Irene J. Blair and Shawnee A. Shuffstall; her brothers, Larry J. Snyder, William McDaniel and T. R. McDaniel; and her son-in-law David Switzer.
She is survived by: her children, Maxine Whitman of Rockland, Linda F. Barnes (Gary) of Cranberry, Charlotte Y. Switzer of Rockland, John C. Whitman Jr. (Becky) of Rockland and Michael Whitman of Rockland; her son-in-law Phillip B. Shuffstall Sr.; her grandchildren, Lydia Burris (David) of Rockland, Jason Switzer (Holly) of Hilliards, Cory Barnes (Phylisha) of Franklin and Phillip B. Shuffstall Jr.; her great grandchildren, Shavonne, Daryan, Colton, Morgan, Dacoda, Evan, Kendra, Caden, Colin, Xander and Ezra; her great great grandchildren, Chloe, Elvira and Alistair; and her sister Phyllis Ann Snyder of Rockland. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
