It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Flanagan of Kenhorst, Pennsylvania, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on February 24, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Flanagan and Beatrice Flanagan (Mawn); his parents-in-law, Joseph and Stella Screpesi; his grandson Pasquale Robert Fonte; his sisters, Jean Philben and Sally McDonnell; and his siblings-in-law, Marcine Wiesbrod, Mary Ostrowski, John Philben (Jack), Frank McDonnell, Robert Hafner, Richard Siegfried and Michael Screpesi.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Flanagan (Screpesi); his son Michael S. Flanagan; his daughter-in-law Megan Flanagan (Chambers); his grandchildren, Patrick, Joseph and Kailey Flanagan; his daughter Kellie A. Fonte (Flanagan); his son-in-law Pasquale V. Fonte, Jr.; his grandchildren, Stefania, Juliette and Patrice Fonte; his sister Margaret Hafner (Peg) of Honesdale, PA; and his siblings-in-law, Anna Mae Siegfried of Shillington, PA, Connie Screpesi and Raymond Weisbrod of Shillington, PA. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces who loved their uncle.
