He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Long and Miriam Long (Hamm); his son John; and his siblings, Arlene and Harold.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Long (Hersh); his children, Mark (Sharon), Paul (Wendy) of Blandon, Melissa (Bill Houseknect) of Schuylkill Haven and Sherry Richards of Kempton; and his grandchildren, Christina, Mitchell, Owen, Madeline, Ashley and Collins. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
