With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Ellen Patterson of Keisterville, Pennsylvania, born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 12, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Allen and Mary Ellen Jenkins (Dale); and her husband James Lyman "Bates" Patterson. She is survived by: her son James Michael Patterson; and her sisters, Donna Jenkins Sczypta and Audrey Kurnava.

Living with Parkinson's Disease for the past several years was difficult, at times, but Shirley never lost her compassion, kindness, and sense of humor.
