It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herbert J. Nichol of Karns City, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 22, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Nichol and Margaret Olcus Nichol. He is survived by: his wife Frances D. Sherwin Nichol; his daughters, Julie L. Cranmer (Chris Bole) of Butler and Crystal A. Zedreck (Edward) of Chicora; his grandchildren, Rebba Stillwagon (Jake) of East Butler, Nicholas Cranmer (Mariah) of Fenelton and Logan Cranmer of Butler; his sister Judy E. Nichol of Brady's Bend; and his brother-in-law William "Bill" Sherwin of Petrolia. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
