He is survived by: his wife Diane Lynne Coene; his children, Jenny "Brandy" Gaiser (Craig), Chester Coene (Tiffany Harrison) and Harry Hughes Coene, Jr.; his grandchildren, Stephanie, Alexandra, Jordan, Dartavion, Jazzmyn and Hughsie; his sister June McHugh (Jerry); his nieces and nephews, Charles Fry Jr., Jerry McHugh, Jr., David McHugh, Mindy Fry, Sally Claton, Diane Davidson and Nancy McHugh; and his former wife Peggy Coene.

“I'm SO SORRY to hear of Harry's passing....years ago I was close friends with both Harry and Diane. I'm not sure if I ever had the pleasure of meeting Brandy or Chet, but I sure heard about you two MANY times. I am disabled....in a wheelchair and see double, among other things, so I can't attend any service etc. But know that I am thinking of everybody in their time of sorrow. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this time of great loss. Sincere Sympathy!”
