He is survived by: his sons, Joseph Bayne (Anna) of Kaylor, Albert Bayne (Anna Wolfe-Bayne) of Butler, Richard Bayne (Darlene) of Cheswick and Harry Bayne, III (Kathy) of Sarver. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
He was a member of the NRA and the Arbor Day Foundation.
