He was predeceased by: his parents, Agnes Besecker (Johnson) and Ira L Besecker; his wife Clara A. "Pudge" Johnston of Kane Pa; his son William L Besecker, Jr.; his brothers, Raymond "Ray" Besecker and Richard "Dick" Besecker; and his nephew Dean Besecker (Rose Reigel).
He is survived by: his siblings, Kane Masonic Lodge, Coudersport Consistory, Shriner and Zem Zem Temple of Kane, VFW; his son Roger L Besecker of Oakland Park, FL; his brother Ralph Besecker of Melbourne, FL; his sister-in-law Marianne Johnston of Kane, PA; and his nieces and nephews, Randal Besecker (Mary Jean) of Walnut Creek, CA, Melissa Besecker of Los Angeles, CA, Kelle Bari (Johnston) of Kane, PA, Dan Johnston (Lauren) of Kane, PA, Todd Johnston (Karen) of Westerville, OH and Ruth Ann Hallberg (Ron) of Kane, PA..
