It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William C. Gilmore (Kane, Pennsylvania), born in Brookville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 5, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Gilmore and Gladys Weirich Gilmore; and his siblings, Pauline McMillen, Doris Keneske, Gertrude Erdman, Joseph and Donald Gilmore.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Cummings; his children, Diane Gilmore of Kane, Susan Gilmore of Moravia and Ralph Gilmore (Linda) of Kane; his brothers, Bob Gilmore of Ridgway, Cal Gilmore of Ridgway and Tom Gilmore of Johnsonburg; his grandchildren, Betsy Bryant, Earl Wright, Greg Jones, Luke, Abraham, Cyrus Gilmore and Jude Daloia; and his great grandchildren, Lexi, Aiden, Abbie, Ean, Benjamin, Delainey, Norah, Sean, Emily, Sierra and Annabelle.
A service will be held with COVID-19 restrictions at 1:00 on Friday at the Ronald McDonald II Funeral Home, Inc. with the Rev. Calvin Cook, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to a church or charity of the donor's choice.
