He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Edinger and Doris Edinger (Oyler); and his siblings, David Edinger, Donna Hulings, Gabby Morris and Ellen Hulings.

He is survived by: his wife Cheri Lutes; his children, Bill Edinger (Misty) of James City, Roy Edinger (Crystal) of Kane and Betsy Lupole (Terry) of Kane; his grandchildren, Ashley Burritt (John), Kayla Lupole and Allen Edinger; his stepgrandchildren, Haylee Swanson, Krichtain Swanson, Shane Swanson and Dylan Swanson; his great grandchild Dallas Lupole; and his sister Deborah Holmes of Mt. Jewett.
