She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Brinkley and Pearl Brinkley (Sterner); her husband James Swanson; her son Michael Swanson; and her siblings, Louis Brinkley, Raymond Brinkley, Willis Brinkley and Drusilla 'Sallie Thayer.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Hulings (Glen) of James City, AliciaStenger of Knox, Steven Swanson (Jan) of North Carolina, Frederic Swanson of Arizona, Gerald Swanson (Polly) of Verona and Matthew Swanson of Kane; and her brother Tom Brinkley of Kane. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
