With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth M. Ackley (Kane, Pennsylvania), who passed away on September 2, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford McNeil and Ella McNeil (Beckwith); her spouse Dean Q. Ackley; her brother Richard McNeil; and her grandchildren, Sheri Jo Brisson, Ronald Brisson Jr. and Todd Brisson.

She is survived by: her children, Barbara Page (Lloyd) of Brookville, Beverly Nicklas (Bruce) of Woodland and Rick Ackley (Jena) of Warren; and her siblings, Kay Hummel of Russell and Ken of West Virginia. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; 11 great-great grandchildren.
