She was predeceased by : her parents, James Dodson and Magdalena Dodson (Gatesman); and her siblings, Joseph, James Dodson, Anna Galvin, Theresa Schmader and Mary Eisenman.
She is survived by : her sons, Joseph Szymanski III (Julie) of Kane and James Szymanski (Suzanne) of Kane; her grandchildren, Jacqueline A. Shepherd (Shade), Kristen N. Szymanski, Jessica A. Szymanski, Sarah M. Szymanski, Joseph J. Szymanski IV (Liz), James E. Szymanski II and Thomas J. Szymanski; and her great grandchildren, Breana, Andrew, Mya and Caleb Szymanski. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
