She is survived by: her sons, Joseph Szymanski III (Julie) of Kane and James Szymanski (Suzanne) of Kane; her grandchildren, Jacqueline A. Shepherd (Shade), Kristen N. Szymanski, Jessica A. Szymanski, Sarah M. Szymanski, Joseph J. Szymanski IV (Liz), James E. Szymanski II and Thomas J. Szymanski; and her great grandchildren, Breana, Andrew, Mya and Caleb Szymanski. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
