He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Besecker and Agnes Johnson Besecker; his wife Dorothy Scott Besecker; and his brother Ray Besecker. He is survived by: his children, Ruth Hallberg (Ron) of Kane, Cynthia Smith and Dean Besecker of Kane; and his brothers, William "Roy" Besecker of St. Marys and Ralph Besecker. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
