He was predeceased by: his parents, John 'Pete Hastings and Martha Belle Silvis Maze; his wife Verna Marie Weiser; his sisters, Valjean Milliron, Esther Schultz and Orletha Lambert; and his sister-in-law Charlotte Weiser.
He is survived by: his brothers, DaWayne Maze of Kane and Delbert Maze (Nancy) of James City; and his sister-in-law Carol Bomba of Ridgway. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
