He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Ishman and Julia Ishman (Haight); his wife Linda Eckstrom; and his son Dennis. He is survived by: his children, Randy, Ray Jr., Chris (Rachel), Joshua (Amanda), Kyle (Jessica), Alexander (Brandi) and Nicole; and his grandchildren, Caleb, Eric and Marissa.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
