She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl "Ted" and Evelyn B. Peterson Cuthbertson; her husband Eugene L. "Smokey" Swanson; her sister Marilyn Tunall; her siblings-in-law, Paul V. Swanson and Alice Swanson; and her grandson Brian D. Lorenzo.
She is survived by: her daughter Cynthia M. Lorenzo of Kane; her grandchildren, Kristin M. Lorenzo and Daniel W. Lorenzo (Nicole Salerno) of Kane; her brother William Cuthbertson (Diane) of Warrenton, VA; her sister-in-law Diane L. Hayes Cuthbertson of Sterling, VA; her nieces, Annette Cuthbertson of Sterling, VA, Susan Harris (Jeff) of Sterling, VA, Cheri Larson (Norm Asel) of Kane and Sarah Bouquin (George) of Monahans, Texas; and her nephew Thomas Swanson (Rita) of California.
