He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Avenali and Josephine Avenali (Lorenzo); his wife Alfreda Weatherbee; his children, Michele Cook and Peter Guy Avenali; and his great grandchild Patrick William Murray.
He is survived by: his children, Christine Jolly (Rick) of Kane, Michael Avenali (Clara) of Kane, John Avenali (Eve) of Kane and Richard Avenali of Kane; his grandchildren, Anton Farley, Michael Avenali, Jake Avenali, Jesse Jolly, Adam Avenali, Bonnie Lindquist, Katie Smith, Sarah Murray and Nicole Swanson; his great grandchildren, Natalie Smith, Carissa Smith, Madison Lindquist, Eleanor Lloyd Avenali, Conley Swanson, Cooper Swanson, Silas Lindquist, Alex Lindquist and Conor Murray; and his pet Pepper.
