He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin and Mary Ambrose Sr. (Muhlmeyer); his brother Brian Ambrose; his nephew Denis Ambrose Jr.; his brother-in-law Ted Hutchins; his niece Keri Ambrose; and his granddaughters, Ianna and Maeve.
He is survived by: his significant other Sarah "Sally" Hutchins; his daughters, Jennifer Ambrose Callihan (Randy) of Beijing, Katie Ambrose (John Sereno) of Aspinwall, Megan Ambrose of Coudersport and Corinne Provost of State College; his grandchildren, Crispian Bish, Myles Callihan, Conor Provost, Caetlyn Provost, Mia Ruscello, Brigid Callihan and Evangeline Sereno; his siblings, Denis Ambrose (Marianne), Stephen Ambrose, Terence Ambrose (Sheryl), Jack Ambrose (Jodi), Maureen Morton (Dave) and Anne Marie Mateer (Mike); and his siblings-in-law, Bill Hutchins (Judy), Millie Cliff, Susan Hutchins, Jen Hutchins, Karen Ambrose and Alison Cusimano.
