She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Petruney and Alice Petruney (VanHorn); her husband Thomas Johnston; her daughter Shelle Johnston; her sister Terri Asel; and her son-in-law Michael Bari.
She is survived by: her children, Kelle Bari of Kane, Dan Johnston (Lauren) of Kane and Todd Johnston (Karen); her grandchildren, Stacey Powell, Amanda Vessel, Meagan Johnston, Bryan Johnston, Matthew Bari and Steven Bari; and her great grandchildren, Sydney Powell, Shaelee Powell, Zellie Johnston and Stone Powell.
