It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Simons (Kane, Pennsylvania), who passed away on December 31, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Simons to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Simons and Charlotte Simons (Trimble); his daughter Kate Schlopy; and his sister Carol Wheatley. He is survived by: his wife Karen Sherwood; his children, Shawn Simons of St. Louis, MS, Erin Gardner (Frank) of Pittsburgh, Michelle Simons of Kane, Ryan Simons (Caitlyn) of Kane, Renee Mika (Robert) of Lewis Run and Joseph Simons of Kane; his grandchildren, Liam McKay, Anna, Madison Meyers, Kaylee, Jack Gardner, Reagan Simons, Ava Sturdevant, Briella Jacobus, Shawn, Tempy and Axel Simons; and his sister Barbara Danuski of Warren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Kane Community Methodist Church (112 Greeves St, Kane, PA 16735). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
