He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward and Elizabeth (Horam); his wife Betty; and his daughter Jane Ginkel. He is survived by: his children, Eugene "Gino" Ginkel (Lisa) of Mt. Jewett, Steve Ginkel (Julie), Randy Ginkel of Clermont, John Ginkel Jr. (Sally) of Marshburg, Anna Arthurs (Jim) of Mt. Jewett, Pam Arthurs (Paul) of Hazel Hurst and Melissa Austin (Eric) of Kushequa; and his brother Jim Ginkel (Shirley) of Warren. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
