John Bechakas Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Bechakas (Kane, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 28, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James T. Bechakas and Aglaia Tzivelis Bechakas; and his brother Terry Bechakas. He is survived by: his spouse Toula Sfendonis; his sons, James Bechakas (Marisa) of Kane, Costas Bechakas of Clearwater, FL., Terry Bechakas of Kane and Michael Bechakas (Heather) of Kane; his sister-in-law Soultana Bechakas of Kane; and his goddaughter Leia Bechakas Liberatore of Denver.
Viewing was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the St. Callistus Catholic Church (342 Chase St, Kane, PA 16735). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St Callistus Catholic Church (342 Chase St, Kane, PA 16735).
