With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James M. Vail Jr. (Kane, Pennsylvania), who passed away on June 7, 2022 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Vail and Esther Vail (Asp); his wife Betty Nunn; his granddaughter Alyssa Faye Kempf; and his sister Sara Armstrong.

He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Kempf of Kane and Sally Troutman (Jim) of Mt. Jewett; his grandchildren, Ross Kempf of St. Marys, Jake Troutman of Mt. Jewett and Nellie Troutman (Justin Koth) of Mt. Jewett; his sister Elaine Anderson of Olean, NY; and his friend Larry Anderson (Peg) of Kane.

Memorial donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church 112 Greeves St. Kane, PA 16735 or the First Church of God. 204 N. Fraley St. Kane, PA 16735.
