She was predeceased by: her parents, August Leichtenberger and Frances Leichtenberger (Blauser); and her husband John Boylan. She is survived by: her children, David "Mitch" Boylan (Sue) of Mt. Jewett, Debbie Defibaugh of Smethport, Lori Moyer (Ralph) of Charlotte, NC and Helen Funari (Frank) of New Wilmington; her grandchildren, Patty Walker (Lance), Tom Boylan (Nikki), Joe Boylan (Heather), John Defibaugh, Vinnie Funari and Linnea Funari; her sister Mary Moore; and her sisters-in-law, Margaret and Barb Leichtenberger. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family recommends cooking or baking for others during the holiday season, which is what Elaine would be doing. Memorial donations may be made to the Mt. Jewett Volunteer Fire Department or to their Women's Auxiliary.
