He is survived by: his wife Joann Carrick; his son Kevin Hale (Judy) of La Place, LA; his grandchildren, Amanda Hale (Trevor) of Chicago, IL and Joshua Hale (Megan) of LaPlace, LA; his brother Larry Hale (Marilyn) of Spokane, WA; and his brother-in-law Lyle Sloat of Shinglehouse.

Memorial donations may be made to the Mt. Jewett Volunteer Fire Department.
