He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Hannold and Ellen Hannold (Anderson); his former wife Judith Hannold (Durnell); and his son Eric Hannold. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Storrar; and his stepchildren, David Figley (Jodi) and Lora Arrigo (Bruce). He is also survived by five grandchildren; one great-grandchild and several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to the Kane Volunteer Fire Department or the Kane Food Bank.
