It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty S Witherell (Kane, Pennsylvania), born in Wilcox, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 29, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Silvis and Ethel Silvis (Platt); her husband Willard "Bill" Witherell; her daughter-in-law Suzie Witherell; and her sister Ruth Porter.
She is survived by: her children, Ellen Bush (Kenneth) of Kane and Dan Witherell of Kane; her granddaughters, Kelly Bliss (Bill), Leah Peters, April Bush (Paul), Katlyn Colson (Avery), MacKenzie Witherell and Morgan Witherell; her great grandchildren, Brooke Ginkel, Annelise Detrick, Elaine Bliss, Charlotte Colson, Bradley Bliss, Carson Tadder, Carter Tadder, Kayson Bush, Raymond Colson and Emmett Colson; her great great grandchildren, Lillian and Amelia; and her pet Febee.
She also worked as a geriatric nursing assistant at the Lutheran Home, a short order cook at Bob's Trading Post and as a RSVP volunteer at the Salvation Army and Head Start.
Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
