She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Thom and Lenora Galmish Thom; and her grandson Chad Schatz. She is survived by: her husband Floyd Nelson; and her children, Nancy Rudolph (Craig) of Kane, Karin Schatz (Randy) of Emporium and Paul Nelson of Kane. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
