William H. Quay Obituary

William H. "Bill" Quay, 59, of Julian, passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at his home. Born on November 19, 1963, in Lock Haven, he was the son of the late Charles L. and Margaret J. (Hays) Quay, Sr. On September 4, 2004, in Milesburg, he married Nancy L. Reeder, who survives at home.

Bill attended Lock Haven High School. He attended the Christ Community Church in State College. He was a Tri Axle truck driver for HRI. He also owned his own painting company, Colormax Painting and did subcontracting for over 25 years.

Bill was a music enthusiast. He loved playing his guitar and playing in many bands throughout the years. He enjoyed boating and fishing. His favorite pastime was being with his family, especially his grandsons.

Along with his wife, Bill is survived by a daughter, Heather R. Watson of Pittsburgh, three grandchildren, Hunter Taylor, Hayden Taylor, and Hezekiah Taylor, and one brother, Charles L. Quay, Jr and his wife, Emily, of VA.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents and his dog, Duke, which he truly loved and missed daily.

Following Bill's wishes, all services will be private.
