He was predeceased by: his parents, William Alterio and Mary Corl Alterio; his brother David Alterio; and his nephew Jordan Alterio. He is survived by: his daughters, Heather Alterio of Bellefonte and Brittany Alterio of Julian; his siblings, Tom Alterio (Michelle) of Zion and Linda Reeder (Bill) of Bellefonte; his sister-in-law Virginia Alterio of Centre Hall; his granddaughter Lorelai Madilia; and his godson Vincent Beck.
