With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edwyna Mae Phelps of Julian, Pennsylvania, born in Beaver, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 20, 2024 at the age of 95. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Charles and Alice Lorraine Reid (Shroads); her husband Lou; her sister Roberta Jean Kelbaugh; and her children-in-law, Dan Hoffman and Roxanna.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Hoffman of Bellefonte, John Phelps of Julian, Phillip Phelps (Diane) of Sarver, PA and Chuck Phelps (Mary Lois) of Williamsburg, PA; and her grandchildren, Todd, Tom (Stacy), James, Mathew (Nikki), Andrea, Amanda (Ross), Jesse (Amanda), Kimberly (Andy), Justin, Lindsey (Danny) and Caitlin (Mike). She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Edwyna to Christ's United Methodist Church at 1200 Allegheny Street, Julian, PA 16844.
