She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo R. Hill and Margaret M. Parker; and her siblings, Edward Hill and Georgia Tony. She is survived by: her husband Arthur Leroy Whitefield of Josephine; her children, Arthur L. Whitfield, III of Albion, David Q. Whitfield of St. Louis, MO, Christine Whitfield of Indiana and Kenneth Whitfield (Linda) of Blairsville; her sisters, Gladys Hill of North Carolina and Ann Mention of North Carolina; and her grandchildren, Shawntay Williams, Makayla Whitfield, Jayden Whitfield, Alisha Whitfield, Jean Ette Whitfield, Desiree Whitfield, Dominique Hicks, Margaret Hunt and Arthur Whitfield IV. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
