He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Dechman and Stephana Dechman (Hercez); and his siblings, Grace Belash, Mary Dechman, Theodore Dechman and Frank Dechman.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred Dechman (Holmes); his children, Ann Marie, John Jr. and Ted; his nephew William Belash (Nancy); and his nieces, Stephana Campbell (Wayne), Sylvia Miller (George) and Victoria DeChurch (Larry).
