She was predeceased by: her parents, David Thompson and Alma Tobin Thompson; her husband Harry Fessler; and her daughter Jane Herring. She is survived by: her grandson Nathan D. Herring; her sister Carol English (John); her nephew Andrew English; and her niece Susan Linn.
