He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lucas and Verna Carl Lucas; and his siblings, Harold, William, Sonny, Lewis, Henry Lucas, Pauline Carter, Anna Mae Lucas, Verna Lucas, Betsy Wolfgang, Marion Deeter, Linda Morgan and Grace Madenford.
He is survived by: his sons, John W. Lucas (Erin), Fishing Creek and Cory D. Lucas (Angela Porter); his grandchildren, Evelyn, Ella, Kylie, Lincoln and Myles; and his siblings, Jerry Lucas of Joliett, Shirley Deeter of Joliett, Jean Kroh of Joliett, Carol Nelson of Joliett, Janet Maidenford of Joliett, Cindy Schnoke of Joliett, Robert Lucas of Joliett and Barbara Bassininsky.
