It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wayne E. Meyer (Johnstown, Pennsylvania), who passed away on February 3, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Meyer and Rose Meyer (Pudliner); his brother Harry "Hats" Jr.; his parents-in-law, Harry and Mary Beatty; his son-in-law George Wise; his siblings-in-law, Janet Haupt and Les Sellers; and his pet Coco.
He is survived by: his wife Laura Meyer (Beatty); his children, Wayne E. Meyer II (Nancy), Roxanne Wise (Meyer), Julianne (Meyer) and Harrison (Chris); his grandchildren, Stone and Morgan Harrison; his siblings, Rose Harford (David) and Wade (Marianne); and his pet Champ. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A masonic service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 6:45 PM at the Harris Funeral Home (500 Cherry Ln, Johnstown, PA 15904). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Zion Lutheran Church (613 Locust St, Johnstown, PA 15901).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to the Zion Lutheran Church in memory of Wayne E. Meyer.
